It is getting closer and closer to football season. Every year I set up a pick'em game on ESPN's fantasiy site. Been doing since the wee years of ESPN.

I can't remember who won the league last year. I am sure it wasn't me though, and I am sure whoever one will tell me. The Broncos seem to sink me every year, hah. Long time away....

What up world. It is the middle of summer and finally blazing hot in San Diego. The wifey and I are getting grouchy because of the heat. But no worries.

I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted to my blog. I can't promise that I will pick up the pace. Life has been busy. My job is just cranking away.

But I have discovered twitter and added a feed to this blog. I can send updates to that. So they might pop up every once in awhile.

Anyways, life is good. Maybe I will post again, when something big happens!

Picture is off the latest puzzle I did. Good ol' big ben is selling 1500pc puzzles now. Little bit harder....

Time for Cinderella

Well it is almost time for the March Madness to begin. Even the President filled out an ESPN bracket. I am not very good at pickin' the bracket, because I don't follow the college basketaball that much anymore. But it sure is fun. Always have good times watchin' the kids scrap for all that they are worth.

march madness

It is almost time for another year of March Madness. Thank goodness, it will distract me from the rough patch the D-Nuggs are going through. So this week, the UNM Lobos are playing in the Mountain West tourney. They are the third seed. They actually tied for the league championship. The first MWC one ever. And the first title since some WAC title in the 90's...

And don't worry.. the DJ's Nationwide Pick'em will be making a comeback... as the DJ's Worldwide Pick'em!

Hi everyone.. Me and the wifey finally did our honeymoon. It was a lot of fun. Still trying to get back on San Diego time.

So it is just another Friday, psych! It is not another Friday. This TGIF is end of a long, emotional week. My company followed suit with the recession and laid off several people.

It is hard to see so many talented people leave. I don't think I am going to comment more than that. I have seen and talked about such things before (too often). This is just a hard time right now, I am afraid that it is going to get a little worse too. Just got to keep pushin', learnin', and hopin' for the best.

So that is the downside of the week. The good part! Is it the last Friday before our honeymoon. Finally.. we have had it planned for months now. New Zealand here we come. It is only the second time that I will have been out of the country (well besides Tijuana). Hopefully they don't drive on the wrong side of the street like in Ireland.

But hell, even if they do, I can hang. We don't really have an agenda, just looking forward to some serious chill time. I need to recharge those batteries, cause I feel like I got picked off by Shaq!
